Smoking the last of this sample of Sutliff Mark Twain in a 1975 medium bend sandblasted looking, smooth on the sides yellow Pioneer meer with a black vulcanite stem. And hoping for a day without rain for a change. Watching Gunsmoke and noticing that they sure hired a lot of red headed actresses on this show over the years.

hubby is off today, we've put up a canopy and are sitting outside enjoying the comfortable weather. So far I have smoked a blend of Mike's All Things Cherry, All Things Vanilla with a pinch of his cigar leaf blend in my MM Mark Twain with bent black stem. It was pretty good. Next I tried my MacBaren Dark Twist in my Scottie Piersel Saucer. Then I tried out the Frog Morton Across the Pond in my MM unfinised Country Gent. Hubby said the smoke smelled a little peppery, I wonder what that could have been? Then I tried a sample of D&R Cockstrong I was gifted. I've been sipping ice water. Hubby has cleared out the pond and got the fountain working, so we are sitting out enjoying the sound of water and birds.

Now smoking the last of this tin of Solani 633 in a smooth straight late 1970s Charatan 4148DC Reg. No. 203573 pot with a black double comfort vulcanite stem. Tinned tobacco doesn't last so long in pots. Then again, neither does chicken soup!

Wild and woolly morn on the West Coast of the Dark Continent! Lots of wind and rain. Weather appropriate smoke for starters: CONDOR Long Cut in a Goussard PyPi. Coffee, then tea. Cats are snuggled up in the blanket on the bed. Lucky critters!
