So I recently told a friend of mine that I pipe smoke. He is a very intense vaper, I know. Well, he suggested that I look into this instead. vaping360.com/e-pipes/

I can´t remember when but some years ago life started to become fake. Nothing is genuine anymore and more and more things are just a copy of the real McCoy. And because the big disease of mankind is "cognitive dissonance" nobody cares. Or maybe I am just becoming a codger....

A Vaper at work said the same thing in a room full of Teamsters. My buddy Doug said "Vaping is for pussies...Have you ever seen him carve his plug and rope tobacco on the table (In the breakroom)...he has a man smoke, you are a poser!" The room broke out in a loud roar...it was all good, the vaping guy is a good hand and knows how to roll with the punches, but the point was not lost. My apologies to M'lady Margaret for the salty language, but I thought that it required proper context for what happens in a "guy" situation.

I recently tried a few samples of real tobacco extract vape juice. They don't taste like much of anything and I can't see how they'd ever replace a real pipe. Apparently they get more flavorful as they rest, so I'll reserve judgement. But if I were going to start vaping pipe tobaccos on a regular basis, I'd rather do it in one of these faux briars than one of my wife's vape pens.

Vaping is not safer than cigarettes, and it's not as safe as pipes. Other than single handedly causing the Deeming Act regulations to be drafted and put in place and costing us tons of pipe tobacco blends, it's also not helping anyone really quit smoking by any margin. Most vapers still smoke tobacco or go back to tobacco anyway. Inhaling propylene glycol into the lungs when heated with hot coils puts formaldehyde in the lungs, irritates the lungs and eyes, and there are millions of free radical particles in vape juices. A phony facade. It's just another market big tobacco companies realized they could corner to make even more money when the people decide to get out of tobacco. Marlboro hired hundreds of former FDA employees to research how to regulate and corner the market. Marlboro fully plans to get completely out of tobacco and take over vaping, but they call it heeting. All the research and documents are out there to back what I've said. Vaping is 100% our mortal enemy.
Oops, what I meant to say was vaping is not a safe alternative to smoking. It is technically the safer option to smoking cigarettes all day by a wide margin, but it still isn't safe or healthy in any way for the lungs.

Agreed, though I'm guessing most pipe smokers wouldn't inhale anyway, and puff as you do with a pipe. That's what I did when I tried it. My wife vapes CBD oil, and even though there's no pg (I believe it'c coconut glycerin), I'm really not crazy about the idea of her inhaling that crap into her lungs.

It's usually vegetable glycerin or literally vegetable oil they use for CBD.
