CG, I hardly consider myself a pipe carver sir ...
As the proud owner of three of your pipes, I'll have to respectfully disagree!

Thank you all for your support! We had a great raffle and raised a lot of money.
I decided to re-raffle the pipe I won as I felt a bit bad for my name being drawn. My intentions were never for me to win a pipe but to support my brothers and sisters in the pipemaking world. So, without further adieu:
The winner of the Ryan Alden Bent Brandy is Michael Lockard of Bangor, ME!!

Just a few more days to purchase tickets for this year's raffle! Tickets sales will cease July 19th at 3pm. That will give me time to get them in the bucket before the meeting that night.
Good Luck Everyone!

The pipe gods must have known I've been looking at dublins lately as well.
It's a beautiful pipe and can't wait to see it in person.

Micheal makes a sweet smoking pipe, if its your first artisan pipe its hard to go wrong with a maddis. I have two of em and they both smoke everything beautifully.

That's what I've read from others as well. And yes, it will be my first. And hopefully my first of many.
I know what I want for my next one now that my Dublin itch was luckily scratched. Hopefully I can control my PAD and TAD, then I'll be able to afford the one I have pictured in my brain.

It won't be long till we see the GKCPC Carvers Raffle tickets for sale. We will see many USA carvers posting pics of the pipes they carve on Social Media. The GKCPC will have a page set up for easy purchase of tickets. Last year I believe Greg Pease, George Dibos and another gentlemen whose name escapes me where the judges. It is quite something to see the 7 winners placed on their stand! Just some food for thought if you have some extra cash in the upcoming time before mid Sept.
