MB Virginia No.1 in the Falcon so far today. I'll Stormy 's safety campaign: don't peep down the tube wondering if there's one more Roman candle to come. There's a story behind that... 😂😂🤣 Amphora brown in a savinelli spring bent brandy. Ice tea.

I popped a tin of C&D Bayou Morning Flake a little bit ago and I'm smoking it in a Savinelli 904KS unfinished with yellow stem. I figured I'll smoke all American tobaccos and blends today. That leaves mainly C&D and McClelland, both blenders that adhere to primarily supporting American growers and using American burley and Virginias. Sutliff is an American company but uses mostly foreign tobaccos.

Happy 4th y'all!
I just stuffed some Low Country Strawberry in to a Pete Donegal Rocky XL339. To me it's a sweet smooth smoke. It's not overly sweet to me. I'm being drawn to it more and more often.
Some folks smoke or claim to smoke pricy brands of fancy tinned tobacco, claiming it's the best thing since baked bread. Status isn't why I smoke the tobaccos I do, it's because they please just me. I didn't buy it for you. The same goes for the pipes I smoke.

Now smoking Uhle’s Golden Shag in a 1978 slight bend CAO Turk's Head Meer with a yellow acrylic stem. Not sure why this is named "Shag" when it isn't a shag cut. Oh well...

Heinrich's Special Curly in an American-stemmed Falcon. Amazing the difference a year's age made to this blend.

My earlier smoke, the pipe was smoked and emptied. Some time later I unthinkingly grabbed the same pipe to fill it again. This time I put my blend of Dark Fired Kentucky(C&D) and unflavored black cavendish into it(C&D). The Dark Fired Kentucky was too strong for me, while the unflavored black cavendish had little flavor, other than a hint of ash(which, somehow, may be my fault). Now I have the robust flavor of the Dark Fired Kentucky in a milder form. Either by itself wasn't to my taste, now together they are enjoyable. Maybe the next try at blending I'll put more of the cavendish than Dark Fired Kentucky, the later's flavor should still come through.

With all my playing with my post, it seems it takes me longer to post than it does to smoke the pipe full I'm posting about. I'm now puffing some C&D Crooner in an old Pete Kinsale rusticated P-Lip bent billiard (XL20)
(P.S.)I used larger fonts to better see what I'm trying to post.

Too hot outside to smoke today. Sure wish I could have a little place inside to smoke. You could always try smokiin' in the boys room with the fart fan on. I've heard talk that some pipers sneak a smoke in the bathroom on occasion.

It's the 4th of July! What's more appropriate than a bowl of Independence Day 2015 in a Missouri Meerschaum Legend cob. Drinking Rum & Lemonade.

I still have a tin of ID 2015 that I was going to open, but I'm trying to keep to set # limit of how many tins I have open. I think I'm gonna save it for next year.
