Now smoking Sam Gawith Medium Virginia Flake in a straight smooth patent era 1952 Dunhill Bruyere ODA apple 806 B124 with a black vulcanite stem. A bottle of Boylan's Birch Beer made with pure cane sugar is my drink. Watching Wyatt Earp before the Phillies-Pirates game starts. Boylan's Birch Beer is the best damned birch beer you can get, IMO. I hope you enjoyed that Medium Virginia Flake too.

Yes, the MVF was very good, too, especially in my Dunhill ODA.

Waking up with some Three Friars in a Peter Klein bent egg. I had several bowls of this yesterday at a cookout. It ended up being a bit bitey. I think it must have been the breeze. This morning, it's really good. Of course, strong coffee on the side.

Just went out to the DSA to finish the H&H from the morning commute and the last of the Community coffee, neat. While out enjoying the smoke and nature, I happened to look at the dead top of one of the trees which is a frequent perch for hawks. To my surprise, perched there sunning itself, was a bald eagle. It has been a number of years since I have seen one in the wild. That is a very uncommon sight for a highly developed area of town.
