I am now trying some G&H Louisiana Perique Flake. Due to the thunder bumpers, boomers and rain I'm finding it a little difficult to get it started. It's sweet and fruity, I do not yet taste the perique, or lakeland essences. Maybe the third relight may do the charm. There is just the mildest hint of the perique, and maybe cocoa(a nutty cocoa). The main thing is the upfront fruitiness. There is also the zestiness of the Virginia, which may be where the fruity flavor is coming from. Overall pretty pleasant. It's not the same as G.L.Pease Stonehenge, but similar. It's quite complex flavors, each puff delivers something a little different. Half a bowl smoked and I now am getting some lakeland essences. I should think that will be more that a three pipe problem. The pipe I'm using is a Blakemar Briars hand rusticated saddle pot. Similar to this but rusticated.

My pouch of GH Mahogany emptied, I'm loading the Falcon with GH Best Brown #2. I thought ahead this time: it's dry enough to smoke.

It's taking a long time for people to realize that Photobucket DOES NOT WORK period, anymore. Do they even look at their own post later? Photobucket Doesn't work! Hey, grumphole, I looked at it after I posted it and the pictures were there. I have in fact paid for third - party hosting, p- whatever your handle is. I have tried Imgur and was not impressed. I would appreciate it if the Mods would just delete all of my posts.

When I left for work I had loaded a boal of FMC in a swiss BBK but didn;t have time to smoke it and the BBK isn't driver friendly,so after work was trying to decide on a blend when I looked up and saw my lonely little pipe sitting there all ready to go and I knew that somewhere SomeBody luved me. After which I tried a bowl of LL 125th Anniversary in my Ol-Vic.Have to smoke a few more bowls of this to decide anything.

Now smoking D&R A.B. Rimboche in a smooth straight pre-transition Barling 313 T.V.F. EXEXEL pot with a black ebonite stem. This will get me to dinner time, which, due to me being busy, is my fault. Oh well, I get another smoke in, so there's no loss. Watching the Braves-Nats game.

My next smoke is G.H&Co. Rose plug in a BST while slowly making my way through this pot of tea. The skeeters are out in full force tonight and it's too early for the bats.

Back again now after a good supper. Now I'm trying some of the G.L.Pease Stonehenge Flake. I have it in a Nording Sailor. It's smoking nicely. Maybe because it's no longer storming outside. Cooled off too.
This time with the Stonehenge it wasn't as strong, not all the upfront sweetness. I don't know, it maybe the change of pipes. Maybe it's because the tin was opened for a while. You tell me.

Lol, Ron. You and Grumpy have the same Yoda coffee cup. I understand that would be really frustrating. I believe Photobucket is on the verge of bankruptcy or other internal issues. They really started letting things go downhill a couple years ago with heavy ads and malware drive-bys. Did that Van Der Want ceramic start coloring for you? I haven't been smoking mine as much recently, but need new photos of it.
