War Horse Bar in a John Cotton belge. First time with the blend and this stuff has a delicious profile to me. My friend that sent the samples jokingly sent a nub of Happy Brown bogie in the tin with the War Horse and told me to add it if War Horse wasn't strong enough for me. Also got a bit of 2000 Christmas Cheer and 2003 Cumberland aged samples to try. I was not impressed with fresh Cumberland and he says the well aged stuff once it's over 10 years old is excellent. Good evening, everyone!

Started off the day with 5 Bros. topped with G&H Dark Birdseye in the MM Legend 5th Ave with a glass of ice tea.
Now smoking LTF with a pinch of McC Stoved Va. in the MM Diplomat Apple HW with a can of Coke.
The Stoved Va. adds a nice dark tangy note to the LTF, but I like it better mixed with LNF.

I was thinking about getting one of those pipes. How do you like it? Did you buy it from over seas?

Often times if I'm smoking an english I can't help but think, I wish I could smoke all of this blend minus the Latakia. In smoking Sam's Flake tonight for the first time, this blend makes me wonder why there aren't even more VaOr blends and why they aren't as popular as VaPers in their own way. This Flake is delicious. Va and Turkish hot pressed into plugs and sliced. It's like taking Full Virginia Flake and adding 40-50% Turkish leaf to it. Just finished my first bowl of it and will definitely stock it up based on this sample.

I was thinking about getting one of those pipes. How do you like it? Did you buy it from over seas? I got from Al Pascia In Milano Italy. ( www.alpascia.com/ ) I like it, but being so short, I sometimes get smoke up my nose.

I felt like some SG St. James Flake to smoke in the Rattray's Highland #5 pipe with some River Bend Apricotica Apricot IPA along side. The beer is better than you'd think, but not my favorite IPA in the world.

Good Morning. We just returned from vacation and today is the first day back at work. We had a terrific stay at Cape May and the grandson was with us which made it truly special! He is a really good boy and my daughter has done a remarkable job instilling good manners in him. Of course he has grandma and grandpa wrapped around his pinky but that's alright, we loved it.
For the first ride into work this morning I had P&W Nut Brown Burley in a James Upshall P Grade slightly bent Dublin with a Les Wood silver band. Black Wegmans Light Roast coffee was in the travel mug.
Have a great day and Happy Smoking.
