Gandalf Hoggwart & Co. Louisiana Perique in a Savinelli Linea Piu 5 rustic paneled billiard.
The flake makes for a nice cool and slow smoke.

Just finished a bowl of Savinelli Doblone d'Oro in a large 1962 Barling apple. If you liked the Va/Per Three Nuns, try this blend. It's the closest match to it available on today's market.

Half way through this bowl of Jim's Va/Bur in a 2015 Basil Meadows Bing Crosby Merchant Service replica with a smooth straight thin shank, aluminum band and black ebonite stem. Work is done for the day, and it's time for Gunsmoke.

Less hectic Friday than usual here. Started with PS Luxury Navy Flake in the Pietenpauw Traditional Zulu; coffee on the side. Now at work, where it will be my own Mystery Blend of leftovers in the cobs until 16h00.

First smoke of the day is some flake scraps in the MM Mizzou. We're back to our old work schedule where we're off at 11:30 on Fridays. So I'm going to stay behind and drill out some briar blocks on the drill press.

Rebel Scum in the Royal House LTD bent Billiard. For those that don't know yet, I have a bunch of blends with odd names. Most of the names come from inside jokes and references. Like "Listing This Early", right Jim?😜 Right, man! We are still waiting for the "Klubbed Eggs" blend. A quarter of the way through this bowl of Motzek Herbst 84 in a black pebble finish straight 2003 Cavicchi C. Fatto A Mano lovat with a black acrylic stem. Getting set to watch the Braves-Dodgers game. And "Diaper Whallop"...don't forget Diaper Whallop.

You just might get paid a visit, appears to be heading Southeast. Just fired up C&D's Sansalpolcro in a Camenetto business Billiard 109 reddish brown in color with a blackened rim, with a purpleish/gray acrylic stem with gold mustache.

Haunted Bookshop first thing this morning in a Mark Twain.
For the rest of the day it's C&D Yorktown in a tiny late 60's Mexico Crest Debonair pencil-shank Rhodesian.

Good Morning.
I started my day this morning with GH Rum Twist in a Sav Riviera Billiard with my morning black coffee. Now I have GH Dark Plug in a Kaywoodie Carburetor 8822 Billiard. More black coffee is in the travel mug.
Happy Smoking.

Next up PO 321 Natural Smooth with Rajahs Court. Although still breaking this pipe in, it has moved into top 5 in ease of smoking.

About half way through this bowl of Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1982 black sandblasted paneled slight bend Savinelli flat bottom sitter with a black vulcanite stem. A bottle of Boylan's Birch Beer made with pure cane sugar is my drink. Watching Mad Dog Russo.
