PIPES IN OTHER WOODS.pdf (108.51 KB) I found this in a FB group for the OKC Pipe Club. The club seems to be just a group of buddies that get together once a month. They post reminders after the meeting and never directions let alone an address. So, I believe they are a bit excusive.Their FB page hasn't had a new post since April. Go figure.

Amazes me how antisocial the Oklahoma pipers seem to be.Their lead post is 3 years old.And members post, well yesterday I posted just to see if there was any life in it.I got a notification that one member "Liked" it.

Life in oklahoma is a bit slower place than most....when my brother retired in Woodward Oklahoma I felt like I walked into Mayberry 1950...when I walked into a hardware store a rusty headed kid with freckles greeted me with "Good morning mister"...it really was a time warp.

I was doing some work up that way years ago, stoped in a little town called Sieling and ordered lunch. Chicken fried steak, I think they gave me the whole chicken. What's kind of cool, you get out closer to the panhandle, there's a town called Slapout.Anywho I did get more responses out of that group, just have to keep try to administer CPR to get them involved with their own FB page.Mayhap grow some new members if there is life showing.
