As I look back on my life over these past 75 years I realize that I've made many mistakes...Things that I wouldn't do again or at least I would do them differently...So I've come to this conclusion..If you really learn from your mistakes then I must be pretty smart..Why don't other folks realize that?

There ya go thinking again. If you are as smart as you think you are then why don't you have the answer?

Things like Einstein- "The more I learn, the more I realize that I know nothing at all " comes to mind.
We are all idiots, only on different subjects, .......is another favorite of mine.
The USA is number 1 in the world for the most people incarcerated, most being repeat offenders.
It's pointless to wish for things, but I still wish there was a big "REWIND" button that I could hit, and go back and change 90% of my life.

Looking back I wish I had said "yes" more often than "no". The chances not taken can be haunting.

I wouldn't change anything if there was a possibility I wouldn't meet my wife. but if I could go back knowing then what I know now and retain the knowledge, there's a bunch of people I'd tell to piss off before they had a chance to turn on me.

When I think, I'm dangerous. If I had a mind, I'd be dangerous. 'Nuff said.

I could have done better, I could have done worse, raised 3 kids, all are a benefit to mankind, got a better wife than I deserve, and when I die no one is gonna say that Sonofabitch cheated me out of money.

Sinatra's "My Way" has taken on poignant meaning at my age. Careful, that is the music that my brother had at his funeral. The only music and in 4 different versions. I was the only family there and the only one who knew him in his youth. He was rich, and he surrounded himself with people who worshipped him. Any hints that he was human and you were out the door.
