Just finished a Macanudo that I randomly grabbed from my box. Not the greatest cigar I've smoked but nothing to complain about either.

Gurkha Shepra Orange not a bad little smoke for around 3.00 bucks a stick. Got this one in a super cheapo bundle it was not a power house but a darn fine medium smoke. Ash dropped at the 2 inch mark twice and I fed the worms the last 1/2 inch. A strong 7/10 well constructed and best of all affordable.

You guys & your cigars. It's been a while since I've had a good cigar. It was my intention to order a box before the Customs door shut but now that it has, I'm kinda glad that I didn't because it would be so easy to slip back into that habit. Love a good cigar.
As I've got 4oz of SPC Plum Pudding & 2oz of Mississippi River Special Reserve, I ration it to just one small bowl of either every day, usually in the evening ..... but what the heck.
First bowl of the day; Newminster English Luxus in a smooth bent Roma Calabash with faux amber ferrule. Tea with organic honey.
Now enjoying Plum Pudding in a bent Dr Grabow Duke. Tea with organic honey.

My cigar habit comes and goes but it sure is hard to pass up 70 degree weather at sunrise and sunset. Ideal cigar time.

Padilla #4 Toro a medium cigar that is well constructed and tastes pretty durn good, price paid 1.85 and worth every penny. The cigar is rated a 91 and is long filler and you can do worse with some bundle cigar at that price. 6.5/10

Shared a Brick House with my son last night. I always have liked those and Fuentes, English wrapper, when I smoke a cigar. Sometimes an Avo Domaine, but I don't buy those too often, pretty expensive. My brother criticizes me for not smoking Maduros. He says flavor is best with Maduro. I just can't get into that intensity.

I don't want a Maduro every time just like I wouldn't want a Lat blend every time. Sometimes that lighter, nutty flavor is what your after. Variety is always the key for me.

I feel the same way and mix my humidor up with samplers some better than others. Cigars constantly change and good deals can be had by searching back in time a little ways to find yesterdays best smokes vs todays bragging rights.

I spent 2-3 months not even thinking about the two cigars in my Pelican case humidor. I can't remember what made me do it, but I swung by my B&M and picked up a few more. Today I enjoyed a Gurkha Maduro Royal Challenge robusto. This cigar may have changed my opinion of cigars! The first two cigars I smoked seemed too heavy, probably being too strong for my palate. The Royal Challenge was much more to my liking, and I was able to pick out some flavors. They still aren't as nuanced as pipe tobacco can be, but I must say I enjoyed the smoke with a glass of bourbon and a good book this afternoon...

Last cigar at the lake house. I bought this house in 2005 so I figured an Opus X from 2005 would be appropriate. imgur.com/a/hLg0OO2It’s good

^ This coming from the guy that mentored me (as much as that is possible) when I first got into cigars, then pulled me into pipes and sent near 10lb of samples. Ron's a good guy but can't count for Diddly and I know Diddly could count to four at least.

Headed to a local park to enjoy this cigar. I’ve smoked a few of these prior. A solid handmade that smokes extremely smooth. Sometimes don’t burn even is my only complaint. This particular one is covered with “ plume “ 👌👍👍👍👍 Loyal Torano Hecho a mano
