I heard somewhere that you can write to Peterson and either free or for a small fee they will send you the stem of your choice for your pipe. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to buy a p-lip, but they don't bother me much. If it was my only pipe then it might be a problem.

I have had a few of the recent regular line as was underwhelmed. I did get a Sherlock Holmes Squire and love it! Smokes great and is real pretty. It is the most I have spent on a pipe.

craigmillar Upon further review, Jin's last post was February of 2016..🙁 It figures that his last post was greeting someone. Jim passed away a few months ago his collection was fantastic he said once he thought the Darwin was made especially for him a big pipe for a big man.

Yes, he was a very kind person, and had incredible knowledge on all things Peterson...I believe that he had a lot of input on the Peterson book that has been talked about for quite awhile.

I only have one, a 2015 Christmas full bent...and it has gurgled like a sunuvagun since day one. I kept it only because it was a gift from Dear Sweetie (my wife). I smoke it from time to time because it looks nice, and is an easy clencher...but I dunno if I'd buy one.
