Just had another bowl of the D&R Acadian Bright in a Savinelli unfinished 904KS with swirled yellow acrylic stem. Mostly smoked just this pure Perique all day, it's that good. Some experiments to come tomorrow.

McClelland's Dark Navy Flake with a heap O' Newminster Superior Navy Flake on top in a Savinelli Champagne bent billiard. Cool and pleasant night. Mr. Skunk on the move outside making his presence known. Probably looking to clean up whatever cat kibble Cooney left, which seldom is much.

First smoke of the morning GLP Piccadilly in a GBD. Coffee is hot and strong with farm cream and real sugar from cane. Watching live feed again as Houston is literally swimming with many water rescues going on over night. Dumped out a five gallon pail that I am using for a rain gauge this morning and checked the lake. That's 15 inches of rain in less than 24 hours. My total is now 26 inches since Friday night. Good thing that fat floats in my case. LMAO

Lighting up a bowl of P&W #191 in a Radice Rind billiard. It is really, seriously bad in Houston today. It looks like New Orleans after Katrina. I don't think we have a place for all of the displaced people. A local TV station just went off the air for the first time in 71 years. They had to evacuate the station. The last crew is a woman reporter and her cameraman are trapped on top of an overpass. To make it worse all of the fake media is using this to bash Trump. The stupidity never ends.

Now smoking Year 2002 Wessex Sovereign Curly Cut in a smooth straight early 1960s Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. His memory lives on every time you smoke that one. Makes me think of all the great radio and TV he brought us. What a voice!

Now smoking GL Pease Stonehenge Flake in my Dad's Dunhill: a 1997 Amber root, smooth bent bulldog, no. 3208 with a 2012 repair band and Cumberland Stem. I remember when my Dad brought it home. It was a gift from his wife and I was enamored with it. She purchased it from the old Dunhill store on Fifth Avenue, back when they were in the tobacco business. My drink is a Diet Coke and bergs.
