Just finished smoking D&R Two Timer Gold in a smooth full bend 1977 Crown Coachman 215 egg with a black vulcanite stem. Settling down to routine at last, which in this case, has been watching the Pirates-Reds game. I missed the first inning because I was out, but they survived fine without me.

Sutliff rr match in the RobE olive wood rhodesian. Mr 3 is grumpy since he just got home from the grandparents and he is always a handful the first few hours home. The wife and I had a great time in columbus and met some pretty stellar folks. I ended up with 3 amazing pipes that I'll post pictures of once the house is back to normal and everyone is fed.

First go with some Murray's Yachtsman Navy Plug, and it's a nice, true plug. Densely pressed whole leaf and nothing like our crumble cakes here.

Rattray's: Wallace Flake* in a smooth Graco (France) Dublin. Brain requires more coffee to function. Good smokes your way.
* on first go with this, I thought it the bet flake I had ever smoked. after a couple of bowls, initial enthusiasm moderated and I would characterize it as Very Good and worthy of restocking. There is some Plum in there and while subtle in content it contributes to the taste and makes this flake a little different.

My first bowl of Stonehenge Flake, in a nice old Amphora X-tra 822. I did the fold-n-stuff but will rub out the next try. This was a bit moist too, and a hassle to keep going. Some drying in order. I am also learning windy weather smoking. It seems we have plenty of wind in the back yard, which is my go-to spot now. Sit in the yard swing, play with the dog and watch the mountains. I just remembered I have a new pouch of Amphora Black Cavendish. Next time I will try that in this pipe. These are the mountains we watch. This pic was taken yesterday, just down the road behind the house.

Maybe this should be "what are you eating". I am waiting for some Curry Chicken and Rice. Have some lemon drink here. Deciding between G&H Dark Scented, CornCobPip&ButtonNose, 2003 Best of Show McC Aromatic. Tin was about to burst. Opened, it smells awesome. Maybe Bothy Flake. Pipes to choose? My go to 30 YO Salim Meer, a Yello Bole Pug Bulldog, a tiny MM> Feeling blessed for the choices, despite Jim panning the McC aro. Actually, this sat for 14 years. May have made a difference. If not, I'll have to fry him a few eggs to make peace
