Ladies and Gentleman, The Briar Patch is proud to present our first annual, Holiday Pipe of the Year. In concert with our friends at The Missouri Meerschaum Company, we have put together a 2 pipe set to celebrate the membership of this community. A special Thanks goes out to Mike (crapgame) and John (papipeguy). It was their commitment and dedication to this endevour that took it from an idea to a reality. Each set includes 2 pipes, a dark stained straight Country Gentleman and a natural bent Diplomat. Each pipe will have The Briar Patch logo engraved on the shank and will be presented in a collectible Briar Patch holiday gift box. The total cost of the set will be around $40-45 including domestic shipping, with a small portion of the proceeds going toward forum maintenance and future contests. This thread is intended to gauge the interest of our membership. Once we have a general idea of how many people would like to participate, we will coordinate an ordering process with Missouri Meerschaum Co. Our ordering deadline will be mid-October to provide an early December delivery, just in time for the holidays. I hope everyone is able to participate in this as a way of celebrating our community, it's diversity and it's success. Thank You all for being a part of this little corner of the interwebs. |

It is a very commendable offer and idea, but I have a small problem in having 67 cobs, 7 of which are Diplomats and 4 Country Gents.
