Hello,
Very briefly, my introduction to pipe smoking was filling and lighting my father's pipe when he was driving the car. This, I'm sure, would be considered some kind of child abuse, these days, but I was happy to help, and I always enjoyed being around my father's pipe.
Now I'm in my mid/late 50's and and after maybe a few years of excessive immersion (5-6 years ago, many pipes bought, many tobaccos tested) followed by a few years of abstinence (I'm a singer, I really shouldn't smoke, especially when I'm working) I'm back to hoping to smoke a little but not too much...
Penzance was my favourite. Now it seems to be no more. I'm here to try to find some alternatives, and I'm open to ideas.

Never had the great white whale that is Penzance myself, but as lestrout suggested, I have heard that Quiet Nights is similar from many.

Welcome to the forum. Hope you'll enjoy being around us. We have quite a few characters here. I echo the recommendation of Quiet Nights, and you may also be interested in Bengal Slices, even though it's a little different than Penzance. Penzance is made every once in a blue moon, and a shipment was recently sent out. Try calling B&Ms.

Welcome from Nashville! I'm a new member, and also a fellow musician. Mainly a keys player but I sing a lot of backgrounds and have to pick my smoking days wisely when I'm on tour! Makes it more rewarding though.
