Just finished off a Nation's cheeseburger, fries and chocolate cream pie. A service called "Doordash" gets it here while it's still hot, for just a few bucks.
Of course, I'd better not eat like this too often.

Just finished a Marie C's beef pot pie...finally....they got it right...good crust and real beef that didn't make you gag when you chew it.

Made a big batch of beef stew. Some tomato paste, red wine, beef stock. Mushrooms, potatoes, carrots. May parents had my daughter for the day, so they came for dinner when they dropped her off.

Baking a Marie Callendar Turkey Pot Pie which will be dumped onto a small turkey burger and steamed broccoli. That ought to do it!

Mexican steak, and frijoles tasted better than yesterday...the first time my granddaughter has ever tried my tortillas...she ate three of them and she is a thumbellina sized little squirt.
I rendered my own lard a few weeks ago as a test, used that lard in the tortillas...wow, better than the commercially available stuff.

For lunch, some very nice Salmon patties with pickled herring filets on the side, a large spinach salad with Blue Cheese Dressing.

Your eating like Middle Eastern Royalty 👍👍. My kind of cuisine for sure. Tonight will be some type of Marie Calendar’s frozen dinner, most likely the meat lovers lasagna. Still pretty darn good at a reasonable price.

Having beans and rice with jalapeno relish. We're out of corn meal, so my wife made rolls instead. I could eat this every day.

Making a second attempt at some pepperoni rolls. the first batch when cut into found some stringy stuff. It was the casing on the pepperoni, they didn't remove it. Got some more and made another batch and waiting for them to cool. Having some salad while waiting.

Out of bread and it is too far to reach a store, almost 100 miles round trip. Snowy conditions. So, I made up a mess of Naan flatbread. Butter instead of olive oil and Zatar instead of Coriander seeds. Came out nice and rich.

Had a frozen turkey dinner from Walmart...have to say that their house brand of food is better than most frozen dinners...surprise the heck out of me. I used to be a snob about my food...my wife cured me of that...showed me that some of what she knew to be good was better than I ever expected...can teach old dogs new tricks....at least this old dog.

Had tortilla soup and spring rolls for lunch. Tonight we had Greek salad, steamed cauliflower, mashed neeps, and pork roast. I had to have something sweet, so a cup of Hershey Chocolate Pudding in a bowl with whipped cream and a small drizzle of caramel syrup on top 150 calories and tasted like 450.
