whenever da Mrs comes downstairs, usual Sunday fare of 4 lg eggs, mangled ham slices, little chunks of x-sharp cheddar. "Skillet" is the GeoForeman grill. For us, comes out two portions of good looking mess. Side of English Muffins. Foot & baseball awaits starting at 1pm. Ed Duncan, Batavia, NY Amazing what that George can do!!!

Looks as though I will reheat some Shrimp and Scallop Etouffee from a couple of nights ago. It is never the same, but still good. Fresh pot of Thai Jasmine Rice. That is critical.

greets again all. To be Schwan #506, added sausage link & shredded cheddar sprinked on top, nuked to usual plateful of mess. Add k-cup cocoa & all to smoking room & continue with the papers. Seldom sit for a "real" lunch but with the continued yard work, might grab something quick today
72, overcast but pleasant so far

Turned the last of the Shrimp and Scallop etouffee into a chowder with more homemade chicken stock, diced roast chicken and rice. Mmm good!

Boston Brown Bread, from the can into a frying pan, sizling and browned in butter is the way I like it. I bought a couple of tins several months ago out of curiosity after reading about it. I just opened it a couple of days ago and I have just microwaved it with butter so far. It's different, but I doubt that I will be buying it in the future unless I need it for some unforseen survival situation.

Although frying in butter sounds good, too. It was one of my dear old mother's favorites. She liked it with tea. I need to pick up a couple of cans of Brown Bread with RAISINS. Miss seeing B&M Baked Beans in the glass jar, too. Seems the Bush family kind of took up all the market shelf space with their assortment.

Looks like it will be some left over Rotisserie chicken from the store, Bob Evan's Stuffing, probably a spinach salad with a vine ripe tomato.
