Congratulations on 40 years of marriage.
They say married men live longer. Others say it only seems longer.

Home made waffles on this cold snowy day. We were supposed to get a trace of snow and instead ended with a couple of inches.

Thick slice of ham and eggs, scrambled with milk and grated white cheddar. No complaints from this peanut gallery occupant

Having some pork chops...fried the way I like them...country style with mashed sweet potatoes and carrots. Thinking about what I want to smoke after dinner.

Lunch was a home made red chili with left over brisket. Added the brisket gravy to the red chili to make a nice rich chili gravy.

Baked potato, brussels sprouts, carrots...kinda vegetarian, but easy to eat and digest. I understand that. 1/2 cup of plain oatmeal this morning. That is it for today. Who knows what tomorrow shall bring?

I have been off my feed for some time.
Hoping to feel better. This morning was two hardboiled eggs. Making a small pot of lima bean and ham soup with fine diced cauliflower and broccoli. Need more fiber. Less meat and cheese. Missed the big Thanksgiving Dinner at our community center last night. Nausea.

I used to love boiled eggs. Yum. Soft boiled, eaten out of the shell, a pat of butter and a smear of spicy mustard. I've got to get back to that.
Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Finished a bowl of oatmeal earlier and then noticed it was time for lunch...had a sandwich of roast beef, pastrami and provolone cheese on pumpernickel bread...cup of coffee on the side with chips.

I have this sugar free orange marmalade. I didn't like it growing up, but now I add a little to my cottage cheese. And to my yogurt, and to my peanut butter sandwiches.

Made a little soup and forced myself to eat it. I am consuming around 500 to 600 calories per day. That could change if I start feeling better. The idea of a greasy, starchy Thanksgiving meal makes me queasy. I am invited to a neighbor's house on Thursday and will attend as it is rare to be invited to anything here and I cannot afford to say "No". LOL. Might not eat much. Nice to be with other people, though. No pipe smoking, alas.

Seems the food poisoning is playing havoc with your intestinal track. FEEL BETTER!!!
