Sorry folks, I purchased it today when I went to pick up some tobacco. It was slightly an impulse buy, but I couldn't resist how well it clenched in my mouth and the fact that a finished smooth version goes for well over $300. This one simply has a layer of wax to retain heat. I look forward to seeing the color of briar darken as I smoke it.

Very nice, your diagnosis, based on the fact that you bought two pipes in a week, is moderate to severe PAD. Sadly there is no known cure...
