I am smoking a bowl of Troost in a Comoy Guildhall billiard. It tastes good but it is nippy and I have to go slow with it.

I will be baptizing my new Mr. Brog from Pipe Nook with Five Brothers and coffee (muddy) being my drink.
James (Scrooge) gifted me with some codger blends, but they will wait for later today. I am on a winning streak with Five Bros being my first.
Eddie got the 2 C&D blends I asked for. Took a week, but that was perfect, as I was ordering ahead. Pipe Nook apparently has a 5$ shipping no matter what. That works out great for me as I don't have to jimmy my order up to a hundred to avoid 10$ shipping elsewhere. Oh, his prices were totally right on, save his Mr. Brog pipe. Cost me a Penny more! His adding machine mustn't do decimals.

Prince Albert in the Jacob Marley Straight Egg. Water is my drink from an empty milk bottle taken from a nuclear waste dump As long as you are drinking water from that bottle, you should be fine.

Just finished a bowl of 5 Bros. in the MM Legend 5th Ave that I started earlier while working on some racks. I stained these 2 stands yesterday with Early American & put 2 coats of semi-gloss poly on them today.
While they were drying I drilled the center supports for the other 3 racks I made. Then I stained 2 of them with the Early American & 1 with Golden Oak. They'll get their 2 coats of poly tomorrow.
Finally sitting down & relaxing with some H&H American Heritage in the MM Diplomat Apple with a bottle of Dr Pepper. They have come out nice. Good work!

Last week peteguy sent me a sample of 1970's Borkum Riff. Well this is the first pipe I've loaded in just over a week, so I thought I'ld give it a try.Not sure what blend it started out as,whiskey, bourbon,or rum but the toppings seem to have evaporated. It was a very dry, slightly peppery burly forward taste. Couldn't pick out and citrusy or smoky virginias.Seems to be it would make a nice filler for an overly sweet aromatic. Thanks peteguy, I used my Middletonian for this smoke and chased it with coffee.
