ODF Flake in an Ardor rusticated author. Seems like a very different tobacco compared to the ready rubbed to me. Much more nuanced, refined flavors. Tea, black, of course. Seemed kind of lonely here over the weekend with Mr. Inks hard at work!

I just smoked a bowl of GLP Fillmore in a Urbino bent apple. I'm going to let this blend sit for six months. Hopefully the Nicotine will mellow by then.

Now smoking P&W #515 in a 1998 smooth straight Butz-Choquin Bistro 1501 pot with a black vulcanite stem. Comparing it to the new Wilke #515. Jim, I'm curious to know your thoughts on the new 'Wilke' blends.

Jim, I'm curious to know your thoughts on the new 'Wilke' blends. I can't tell a difference between John Brandt's and Carole's Dummerston and Rumcake. I'm working on the #515. The quality is there. Now smoking Wilke No. 436 in a 2002 Ser Jacopo Delecta Fatta A Mano R1 sandblast Rhodesian with a smooth extension at the shank with a black acrylic stem. Talking to John Brandt, the new owner of the Wilke blends. Haven't tried this particular blend before.

ODF ready rubbed in the same Ardor rusticated author. Still like the flake better and I think I have discovered the ODF pipe! Tea, black, of course.

Well loaded my favorite pipe Peterson Zulu with one of Wilke pipe tobacco old blends TC Balkan I have to tell you I blended the Balkan blend. The taste starts out Medium the Turkish comes thru with a nice taste of latakia and perique. Sorry trying to think what else I could say about this smoke but my taste buds took over what a smoke.

I've figured out MM=Missouri Meerschaum and CG=Country Gentleman. What does the rest mean? Hard wood. I only just figures it out myself. Emp in the pipe of the morning. Coffee on the side. Taking a short pause with it before starting the drive in. Ding ding ding ..... we have a winner! Just in case you haven't realized by now .... I'm a lazy typer who likes to abbreviate. I didn't have anything better to today, so I decided not to be lazy & put together this list of Pipe Abbreviations & Acronyms.

Evening all.
Quite an interesting day. All the rain cause a little backup in the basement this morning. Nothing damaged and got the water all shop-vac'd up. The stack and trap out at the street gets backed up sometimes, so I took my trusty 4 in. disc plunger down the sidewalk stack and voila, seemed to do the trick. I need another length of pipe for it to get all the way down, but I think we have things moving for now.
Working on a bowl of PH Reserve Cru #2 in a Scottie pencil shank Canadian. Our friend Evan is coming over with his GF and she insisted on cooking US dinner. I wish we had more friends offer to do that.
