Loading up some Black xxx toothpick style in a Amphora for my morning smoke. I hope the lake gives off the dense wet fog like it did this morning. Always cool to hear the fish jumping even when you cant see them. The dense fog heightens the other senses and makes for great pipe smoking.

A quarter of the way through this bowl of Granger in the third pipe I ever bought ($1.95), a 1974 smooth straight French briar Hadley Apple with a black vulcanite stem. This will finish my smoking day. Time now to feed Suzy and Molly who have been fairly quiet this evening, except for one big fight that they carried from one room to another. Molly was going to get Suzy to play even if she had to fight her to do it. Silly cat!

Beautiful day on tap. Sunny morning, expected high of 83F. Smoking Wessex Burley Slice spiked with a little Butera Cavendish in an MM Mark Twain, drinking Organic Sumatran Blend coffee, both full bodied and smooth. Listening to Horse Racing Radio Network and handicapping the card at Keeneland.

Emp in the pipe of the morning. Coffee neat and peace. Looking forward to hunting this afternoon the weather is goofy but the conditions are right since they are harvesting the corn across the street. Hopefully they start back up at it this afternoon so the noise will bump something.

Switching bowls on the Falcon and loading more Viprati. Also on my second mug of Community coffee, neat. I opend d this tin of Viprati a few days ago and there was some that did not fit my Mason jar. I'll just have to smoke it up before it dries. Tough job but someone's got to do it.
