Swr as the inaugural smoke in the dunhill cumberland 51021 with a military mount stem. Drinking a red creme soda and visualizing my hunt and aim. The wife and boys are at an outdoor wedding in the start of a thunderstorm. Wonder how long that will last.

Sutliff revelation match in the basil meadows blasted brandy with a polished aluminum band and a cumberland stem. Red creme soda on the rocks in the tumbler and the first hunt of the season was rained out. Its too early to be concerned but I'll definitely be in a tree for sunrise tomorrow.

And now, 1970 Brindley's Mixture in my nondescript bent Dublin with acrylic bit. Lemon Drink
This is pretty Lat Forward, but not heavy. The Sutliff Match has no Lat in it, but is not bad. Caveat Emptor

Having some Floof in The W-T. It's my poor attempt at a plug that went all fluffy. I think it has a good flavor though.

SG Chocolate Flake in a Paul Becker smooth bent brandy with a Cumberland stem. PG Tips in the mug, of course. Listening to the Huston-Yanks game as I plod through an insurmountable amount of paperwork this weekend. The good of it all is that I get to enjoy many bowls of tobacco and mugs of black tea!

Almost half way through this bowl of McCranie’s Red Ribbon, vintage 2000 in a smooth straight WW2 Pre-Republic Peterson Sterling Canadian with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite p-lip stem. Have enough left for a bowl or so. A bottle of Boylan's Root Beer made with pure cane sugar is my drink. Watching the Astros-Yankees game, which is scoreless in the 4th.

Caveat Emptor Actually, the Brindley's Match does have latakia in it, but it's in a very small amount in granulated form and not ribbon. The other components must be disguising it from your taste buds.

Really dried crispy SG FVF that's been in a pouch with a nub of Rum Twist for a couple months. Even though dried to a crisp it's still tasting alright with a little rum ghost crossover from the start. In a Savinelli unfinished 904KS with yellow swirled acrylic stem.

Shame is I put the 1970's in two containers after rehydrating. One is fine. The other one balled up like a giant gumball with mold. Both containers new, so no idea what happened there.

I know it's there not just because I taste it (in a very, very small amount), but I asked the blender (Carl McAllister) about it at the time I was smoking it. Father Tom noticed it in his review, too, but then again, he did get his sample from me in a trade.
