We had the Knoxville Pipe Club meeting last night and here is what I smoked:
D&R Rimboche SJ in a Sunrise Billiard with an original acrylic stem. McClelland 40th Anniversary in a Dunhill Shell billiard - this was very, very good. GLP Gaslight in a Dunhill Root billiard - this one blew me away, very creamy and rich with lots of smoke volume.
If you live near Knoxville, TN, you are invited to our club.

Just called and switched an order at SmokingPipes. Great service of course. You ever decide between two pipes and know the instant you complete the order you picked the wrong one? haha I thought about it all night.. They had almost shipped too, which is crazy fast considering the order was placed at 11pm last night and I called precisely when they open. I digress. Orlik Golden Slices in my Rossi Rusticated. I call it the log. Not sure what this shape is usually referred to as. Brewing some coffee to wash it down.
This was supposed to be posted an hour ago. haha
Hope you are all having a great morning.

Prince Albert that has been in my tobacco pouch for a week or two. Nice because a good deal of the casing has seemed to have faded. Smoking it in one of my Green Grabow Colour Dukes with a frosty Dr Pepper and watching Mindhunter.

This is the first PAD I have had. TAD is a way of life for me, but I have settled on my blends... for now. Drove myself crazy after buying a Sav Dolomiti (arriving today) as I also wanted a Christmas Author 320. SPC, in one week, bumped me from Bronze VIP to Silver VIP, which is 5% off every pipe all the time. You know what they say: Christmas Comes Ten Times Each Year

I actually went with the Dolomiti Smooth Billiard (switched from the Oscar Lucite Billiard). But I plan on getting the Author still on my P&C order along with a Bulldog I was ogling. Wreckless TAD and PAD for one month, but I haven't had a big order in months and I have a 20% off coupon burning a hole in my pocket. haha Hope I get bumped to silver soon...

I got mine from The Pipe Nook, a smooth Author. My Christmas one from SPC is rustic. Pipe Nook has been going through pipes like crazy, but he does not do seasonal pipes. I don't think a dated pipe, as Sav makes, would hurt to carry one.

I just set fire to a bowl of 1971 Rattray Black Mallory in a Savinelli Oscar Lucite prince with a repair band. This is the original, made in Perth, Scotland. Black coffee is what I'm drinking.

Afternoon all.
Just finished a bowl of soup for lunch. Loaded the same Scottie Bing with some Erinmore Flake that I re-hydrated recently. Not sure why people hate this stuff. I think it's great.
