Why oh why is it so hard to squeeze burns in on the weekend? If it isn't the weather it's the busy's. Skipped right over the burley and cob breakfast combination and right to splendid and tasty. Started the day with Arrowhead in a John Hines stacked morta poker, this burn combo is right up there with the best! Enjoy and stay safe

Had to take a longer break again due to throat troubles. Today's bowl of MacBaren Plumcake, bought during a recent business trip in Germany, is just what the doctor ordered.

Trout Stream in my new Rossi Rubino Bent Pot. With a .9 inch bowl this is the closest I can get to one of my favorite 3 pipes of Yore. That was Meer Lined and always perfect. Bought two ML's recently and one bowl cracked after a few smokes. No Meer Lined anymore. This one fits the bill nicely

Lane: Burley* in a matte finish Stanwell SilkBrun bent Billiard. Cranberry juice on the side. Keep the embers burning.
*as reported by peterd, I am finding this to be a decent blend. Starts out good and gets better at mid bowl with a good finish. I'm on my 3rd bowl since opening. Try a sample ounce and I would be surprised if you didn't like it (assuming you like Burley).

I haven't noticed you smoking LC Hazelnut. If that be up your alley, it's the most nutty of all nut blends

I noticed his tobacco starting to move more. Small seller, but he is great to deal with
