Le Petit Robin in the Robert Perkins Orchid. I'm gonna have to order more of this before too long. Have you had the original as well as the robin? If so, which do you prefer? of the 3 I have seen for sale, I've only had Le Petit Robin. been meaning to get some Reserve du Patron and La Brumeuse.

The Reserve only difference from the original La Brumese is that it's a more medium rather than long cut. Le Petit Robin was a secret blend of the Manil Semois mixed with a fine string cut Virginia. You'll like the original; it's kind of like a more floral/earthy toned artisan Burley like Five Brothers. I should dig mine out. I tried for years to get my hands on it before Pipe guys finally got it imported here.

Well pipe fans, I've been absent from the briar patch experience for a while now. Been battling an upper respiratory infection for over 3 weeks now.
Finally feel good enough to pack a bowl or three.
Started out this evening with bowl of FM Across the pond in one of my free hand dublins.
I then moved on to a nice bowl of Carter Hall in an Edwards Billiard.
I'm now enjoying a bowl of Full Balkan Reserve in a nice Joria Billiard.
It's great to be back in the patch!
