Five Brothers in a no name meer. That's a Pioneer meer. I have a bent one that is similar to yours. Just finished smoking D&R Two Timer Gold in a smooth full bend 1977 Crown Coachman 215 egg with a black vulcanite stem.

Now smoking RO Perique Series Blend P-37 in a smooth straight early 1960s Lane era Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad. Have enough for one more bowl.

About to light up a bowl of C&D Crooner in the very first pipe I ever bought ($2.49) in 1974; a smooth three quarter bend Dr. Grabow Omega with a black vulcanite stem. A cup of Community Coffee, neat, is my drink.

C&D Epiphany, straight to my pipe after eight years undisturbed in a bail-top jar, in the MM General cob. The one thing that aging does to my tastebuds is that it tames the bitterness of C&D burley blends. But that's my tastebuds - ymmv.

Well pipe fans, I've been absent from the briar patch experience for a while now. Been battling an upper respiratory infection for over 3 weeks now. Finally feel good enough to pack a bowl or three. Started out this evening with bowl of FM Across the pond in one of my free hand dublins. I then moved on to a nice bowl of Carter Hall in an Edwards Billiard. I'm now enjoying a bowl of Full Balkan Reserve in a nice Joria Billiard. It's great to be back in the patch!
been missing you! glad to have you back
