Great find! I like the DRGs. Have you smoked one yet? Curious to hear how they smoke.

The ones on the display are unsmoked. I have a couple I do smoke. I wouldn't say great smokers but good.

Congrats on the collect ability factor. Very nice find for DRG fans. I had a pair in the past. I didn't like the balance and they smoked hot for me.

This thread popping up reminded me of something. A few years back, I was on a layover in the Atlanta airport. I ducked into the smoking room to grab a quick coffin nail. Who walks in but the great, Lou Holtz. I'm not a huge college football fan, but I did know who this was because he is also a pipe smoker.
He found himself a corner, pulled out some paperwork and I'm pretty sure he pulled a Grabow CDL out of his coat pocket and loaded up.
Seems this is an optimal pipe to travel with. Light and it comes apart pretty easily. Would love to come across one of these in good shape someday. Would be a cool pipe to have.

I like your corn cobs in the back ground but the Dr. G's are pretty cool too.

When my son Seth and I went to the Dr. Grabow Factory Tour in Sparta NC last year, I picked up 3 or 5 CDL's. I've given a couple of them away, but here's the two remainders...
