I'm all for you guys doing it again this year. Problem is, we need someone to run it, and that job is no joke.
It's also un-official, meaning that The Briar Patch doesn't "officially" endorse it... i.e. anything bad happens, it's on the schmuck generous soul that decided to herd the cats. |

Yup, this will be a large undertaking. I have done a couple a beer exchanges with 10 or so people, and it's like herding freeken cats. lol
You could simply assign numbers as people have signed up.
First person = 1, second = 2
40 people
1 --> 40
2 --> 39
etc
Then just let people PM each other to work it out.
...and no, before you ask, I am not going to run it.

Well, peteguy handled it last year and did a great job. It was a secret who was sending to you, but when you got the gift you knew who it was, and that was cool.

I sent sparks a PM volunteering to run it this year, but he'd already logged off. Anyway, I can run this year's Secret Santa if you guys want. If a mod gives me the go-ahead, I'll copy peteguy's rules from 2017, changing the dates to 2018, and start the official signup list.
