Now that the holidays are around the corner, I was thinking of picking up some festive blends. Thought I'd ask around for suggestions. I saw someone smoking Sutliff- Pumpkin Spice and thought that is a good Halloween smoke. I was also thinking of some tobaccos that would make the house smell festive when I have my friends over for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Hopefully I can find favourite blends that I will want to keep in stock and smoke each season as something fun to look forward to in the name of ceremony.
Cheers,
Justin

Corn Cob Pipe & Button Nose (C&D) has sort of a buttery popcorn savory and sweet flavor Pumpkin Spice rocks C&D We Three Kings and Golden Days of Yore are really nice, but spicy. Sutliff Christmas Spice similar H&H Vermont Meat Pie is Savory and Sweet Sutliff Hickory Match has a smoky and cherry flavor that might toast your tootsies. Sutliff has a few Cobbler Blends McClelland has a Pastry blend, though light, it is there Low Country has a Hazelnut that delivers Hazelnut. Don't trust other Hazelnut blends C&D Stovepipe might work for a Santa down the chimney taste Boswell has Christmas Cookie and Chocolate Cupcake, among others. Those two are pretty good H&H Egg Nog is a NO-GO. Not a bad tobacco, but has no discernible flavor

Boswell Pennsylvania Dutch Treat screams holidays. Burns cool and clean for an aro and I've never received a bad comment about the room note.

McLelland usually has a holiday blend but they released 2016 and 2017 last year as an overreaction to the FDA deeming rules. So I don't know what they'll do this year. As previously mentioned, C&D has some nice aro's for the holidays. We'll have to see what they have up their sleeves this year. They had a bit of a stinker, I think, in 2013 but the rest are good Christmas releases.

I'll never be a daily aro kind of guy, but I like different things every now and then. I also enjoy the affect it has on women.

Ixnay on Auntedhay Ookshopbay. Autumn Evening is to die for It was Vermont Meat Candy Sutliff has Mulled Wine, but I bought all but the last six ounces from SPC, the only one who carries it at a reasonable price, if at all. McClelland Holiday 2016-7 is great. McC Best of Show Aromatic needs to age a little, but will make your beard stand on end

I will second C&D Corn Cob Pipe... though I like to add some C&D Cube Cut Burley to tone it down a bit. It's a great blend, great flavor, great aroma.
I will also throw SWRA out there as well. Not a specific holiday that I could peg it to, but it's a great aro in my opinion.

Peretti's Thanksgiving blend is well worth smoking. I looked but couldn't find it It's only available in November and December. If they don't make it this year, it may be because they are afraid of the FDA.

Any Yay/Nay votes on these C&D- Monster Mixture blends? I have curse of mixture monster and its a good aro. Feels like its gonna be a steam bath bit smokes reasonably dry and the tin note comes through in the smoke. It is an aro, mostly topping flavored with only the rare tobacco flavor. I bought the remnants of a tin from the local b&m on a whim and I wouldn't mind repeating said whim when I run out.

And I got a new Savinelli Oscar Lucite (104)
I plan on adding a few more of the other suggestions to my upcoming P&C order.
Thanks, everyone.

I've never done any "seasonal" blends. Just whatever I've had open at any given time.
