Yep, been there, classified missions are not for glory, they never happened, That was my uncle all over. Decorated with a DFC during WWII, he then "worked" for US AID in Africa, South America, Asia. Never a word about where he was going and a long time before he reported to us where he had been. Supposedly, he was a Transportation Engineer. I wondered about that since he carried a Colt 1908 .38 on his travels. I should think a side rule would have been handier. He never owned one as far as I knew.
