Things are a tad cold and rainy here in my chunk of Oregon, amazing ain't it? My lovely bride of 30 years has been sick for a few days so all my smokes have been on the porch or in the garage and I'm reminded its nice to have outdoor options under a roof here in the PNW.
I'm just back in from the porch and some Ashton Celebrated Sovereign in a Stanwell poker went over well in the cold and damp. Black Coffee was the chaser.

Almost finished smoking Esoterica Dorchester in a smooth straight late ‘50s, early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was formerly owned by actor William Conrad, too! My second Conrad pipe. Got a fair report from the doctor today... nothing serious outside a bad cold virus. A bottle of Sprite is my drink.
Many thanks for the well wishes, folks. It's been two weeks since I came down with this virus, but I'm finally starting to feel better. The fatigue has been the worst of it. It's been almost twenty years since I have had a cold or a flu. I didn't miss being sick, believe me.

Afternoon all. Ventured to the store earlier to get our Thanksgiving shopping done. Was that a horrible idea. The store was mobbed. Made it out alive, came home, loaded up the freezer and fridge and loaded a bowl of OJK mixture in a Scottie. For the Burley lover, you won't find this by searching easily. If the words are out of order it won't give a hit. This is solid white burley cube cut. I have some. Darned good. Direct link: www.pipesandcigars.com/p/blending-white-cube-burley-pipe-tobacco/1472969/#p-119413As per our PMs. If you like plain or otherwise ribbon, cube, white, dark Burley you should buy from C&D. I'm pretty sure the bulk at P&C would be Sutliff's cube cut Burley stock. I'm currently smoking some of P&C's H&H Stogie from 2014, in an MM freehand. Next up is some of Darin's VaPer plug going in a straight Falcon with rusticated Dublin bowl. After that some 2014 H&H Ambassador's Blend in something.

Catching up...I started my day with a bowl of GLP Piccadilly in a MM Legend cob. I then smoked a bowl of Peretti no. 52 in a Peterson St. Patrick's Day bent billiard. Around 3pm I smoked a bowl of War Horse Ready Cut.
I just smoked a bowl of H&H Louisiana Red in a Brebbia squashed tomato with a tortoise shell stem.

Sutliff: Maple Street & Lane Burley in a smooth John Brumfit bent Brandy. Constant rain here today and the kind of cold that creeps into your bones. Combatting that with some hot java. Keep the embers burning.

A seasonal preference for me is E. Hoffman's Spilman Mixture in the Hardcastle Midway Gp. 5-6 sitter. Which is strange, since we have no seasons in South Florida, mainly just variations of one season, with freak exceptions.

Morning all. Just loaded some OJK mixture in a Scottie. Good strong cup of coffee on the side. Let the games begin. Nothing like shoving 5 days of work into 3. And people get excited for Holiday weeks.... So you can just imagine how happy I am to not be working this year. The last 25 years of IT work, and the last 18 with a payroll company. Holidays and end of the year madness combined to make the middle of November through the end of January a living hell. I am loving it this year. And to top it all off I still get to go to the company Christmas party!
