I checked mine and it was ok. But two brand new ones on the storage building were recalled. The park manger called Kidde and they are going to send out replacements.

Yes, thanks. I checked, though mine is a First Alert. If you scroll down the page, there are multiple brand names under the Kiddie banner.

As I said in the earlier post, when I ran my model number it came back that mine was unaffected and was not part of the recall. Fedex ground just showed up and delivered a new one anyway, with instructions for returning the old one postage paid, and residential pickup. (they got my address from when I filled out the form to do a recall check)
Worked out great since mine was out of spec on the pressure gauge!

When you're inspecting your dry chemical extinguishers give them a tap on the bottom with a rubber mallet to keep the dry chemical inside from settling.

Both of mine were replaced and those subject to recall sent back free of charge.
