I was able to collect these over this year. They're pretty high up the ladder for the pre-Cadogan GBDs which are getting harder to find. Only the Pedigree, Straight Grain and Prodigy from the same era are higher. Classic shapes from left to right, 269, 256 and 549. Nice crisp lettering on all and no bowl issues. Light in the hand, easy to clench and mechanically sound for reasonable prices: These, another GBD 549 and an unfinished Savinelli Lumberman were the only briars I remember adding to the herd this year so I may be about done with this phase.

Great choices. I have several GBDs and all of them are pre-Cadogan too. Keep enjoying those pipes.

Egg face! Looks more like someone skinned an alien's face and is wearing it as a mask to me. Or are you taking selfies again? 🤔😂

Or are you taking selfies again? 🤔😂 Your third cousin, twice removed and four times incarcerated, Cornwallis Lawitzke, claimed he took that photo of you during your drunken egg phase. I claim you have egg on your face in the following photo, you Stooge:

Hmmm, sounds to me like someone wants Captain Black Grape with a side of fried eggs in their Christmas stocking this year.

Mark's post prompted me to get my GBDs together, which is something I've been wanting to do but never got around to doing.......

Thanks Charlie. the bottom pipe is a GBD London Mounted. There is no logo on the stem. I question as to whether or not is is the original.
