My all time favorite was made by Lane Ltd. and named Highland. I used to buy it in 1 pound cans at Lane's store on 42nd St in NYC. Sadly, when RJR bought Lane they killed off may blends, especially the English style ones. The recipe is lost to time so my beloved Highland will never come back. Now that I have developed a taste for plugs they are disappearing. Warrior, Velvan, Mick McQuaid are all gone. Condor looks like it will be a survivor but who knows for how long.

If you want the Va/Per Three Nuns, the closest thing made today is Savinelli Doblone d'Oro. Jim turned me onto it after sending me a sample of the Va/Per Three Nuns early this year. Man is that blend great!

Definitely Strang. Also, I will say House Of Calabash Ancient Imperial.

Man is that blend great! I agree that the Savinelli Gold Dabloon is close to Bell's Three Nuns in flavor, but for me doesn't quite have the same sweet tang to the extent that 3 Nuns conveys and that I crave. A classic great smoke nonetheless.

McClelland 3 Oaks Syrian. It is officially gone now, right? Yes. Sadly, McClelland finally reached the end of their stock of Syrian Latakia early this year. I was surprised that no one had added this one to the list here yet.
