the only other black cav I have tried is Lane Limited, and just as the reviews state in TR there is no comparison. I really like PS BCav, Lane doesn't come close on any level. Sorry I can't add more. If you haven't tried PS Black Cavendish you are missing out. If looking for a vanilla Black Cav, I suggest C&D Green River Vanilla. That’s what I mix with Pegasus to make Pegasus River. 2 parts Pegasus to 1 part GRV. I got a pound of Sutliff Green River. I use it for blending, though Serenity is right about Lane. I get almost no flavor from their BC

Another beautiful day in Pinehurst. (Gotta love global warming :-P ) Had our Music Sunday @ church today ( I sing in the choir ) The kids sing with us, it was wonderful. Got out this afternoon and got a round in, enjoying Arturo Fuente 858's and Curly Heads. Just got home from a Christmas Party, great folks and a great time. Found my way up to the mancave and am now enjoying a bowl of Squadron Leader in a refurbed H.I.S. Bent Dublin Sitter estate, sippin McClellands Speyside and watchin youtube. So nice to hear people say they are going to church. I am so far removed from anything outside these doors, the news would have me believe that no one goes anymore. I used to sing in the choir. Did a cantata one year that I never heard since and found it (eBay) on a rare LP. Was as joyful as finding an Archies bootleg LP

Sweeeet! You've got a great collection. I have two Sea Rocks and love the in-hand feel. Light as air, too!

Skiff in the Savinelli billiard with a diet grape Faygo. haha This 50g sack went too fast!
Binging Mad Men. In the middle of the 2nd season now. I like the show, but I always have trouble connecting with characters that are unfaitful to their spouse. I always hated Tony Soprano for the same reason. I also hate trying to empathize with a protagonist who is a gambler.(Fast Eddie Felson is cool though. Of course.)

If I recall correctly, I believe Tsal once owned (maybe still does) this pipe's bigger brother. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for his work. There are a couple nice ones on his site, but not quite like yours. I don't know that tsal has been on since I joined. HAHAHAHAHAHA! I just found my favourite pipe-maker! "Lots of guys build pipes as good as mine. For sure. And if you ask me, I’ll tell you. I’ll tell you right now Abe Herbaugh makes finer buttons. I’ll tell you right now Nate King, Bruce Weaver, and Clark Layton sandblast better than me. Andrew Staples… shinier. Scottie Piersel – more delicate. I’m not kidding. Check it out. But all those guys and especially Scottie… they’re Satanists. Yeah. They eat puppies, dude, for real. You gonna buy a pipe from a puppy eater? That’s right. So you’re better off here, where we don’t do that kind of thing." - Todd Bannard

I've been smoking a lot of the same tobaccos lately & realized I haven't smoked a few in a while.
It's time for some Orlik DSK in the MM CG HW with a glass of ice tea.

Corn Cob Pipe And A Button Nose in my Cassillero 728. I think this is what qualifies as a basket pipe?
I have the CCPABN mixed 50/50 with some P&C blending burley. Smells like Christmas up in here! My next smoke is on deck and drying. After a day of smoking Dunhill-RR and Skiff, I needed some desert smokes. The lower and slower you go with this corn cob pipe... So much flavor.

For the past three days I've been steaming about UPS. I'd got my order in and payed for.Got my confirmation and shipping emails.I checcked the tracking daily sometimes three or four times a day.According to the tracking I should have received my order last Tuesday.UPS decided to sit on it for three days."Operating Conditions" So finally I am enjoying LL Dark Red in my Yello-Bole Bulldog with Moose Drool brown ale. That's absolutely nothing, Matthew! Try the Dark Continent: Seven days shipping from the USA and then Customs sits on it for a month!!

Smoking SG Sam's Flake in a late 60's Kaywoodie Super Grain 09B pear. It's been driving me absolutely nuts not getting to smoke all day inside and it's getting uncomfortably cold outside, so I said the hell with it. I've got the window cracked open.
