Now smoking SWRA in a 1979 straight smooth Dr. Grabow Grand Duke 45 pot with a black stem. Working and listening to The Great Gildersleeve. I can't remember you smoking a Grabow in years. I do. I have the four I bought in the 1970s. I've been smoking Crooner in my first pipe, which is a Grabow, and has been smoked thousands of times over the past 43 years. And the pot is a pretty decent smoker once I sanded off the wax coating, and I bought it the first week of Jan. in 1979. A lot of Amphora Brown and SWRA have been smoked in it over the years. Also, ERR Match, though not as much, and only in the past three years when I don't have the aforementioned two blends open to smoke. Not far from finishing this bowl of Angler's Dream in a slight bend 1984 Stanwell Antique 124 grain etched with a smooth front with a black vulcanite stem. This will end my smoking day.

First smoke of the day is flake scraps in the Medico Tuxedo with a Dr Grabow stem. I like smoking flake scraps! Got to get busy pressing some more so I can get more edge clippings for myself. I've smoked all of mine for the time being. Funny how a by-product can be so good. What kind of flakes do you press? How do you prepare your scraps for smoking? I cut them up a little with an ulu and then put them in the blender for a couple of seconds. I'm about to light up my first bowl of the day: Comoy's Cask No.4 Stand Fast Navy in a Sunrise billiard.

Sutliffs sunrise smoke in the mm bent legend. This is not a close copy of what I want in the morning. Especially since the first half of the bowl was attempting to toast my tongue. Its not terrible but not a good first thing tobacco. Drinking english beeakfast and contemplating the day.

ODF, Irish Flake, DSK, LBF, LNF, LTF, OGS, etc... it's whatever's leftover from what I'm gonna smoke that doesn't fit in the bowl. I need to get (or make) a hydraulic press. I've been using C clamps with my little press, but seems only decent with making crumble cake.

Went on another potato chip binge and fouled my tongue, so this is my first smoke since yesterday sometime. 1/3Heine, 1/3 PS Dutch Cav, and 1/3 Butternut Burley in an English Half Bend Rusticated Squat Bulldoggie
Bullet is being lazy, so after I finish this smoke I will play Pull The Stuffed Bear Apart. Tennis balls on the morrow, unless they get nicked again
