Now smoking HU Edward G. in a mid-late 1930s straight black grain relief Dunhill OX Shell bulldog with a silver band repair with a black vulcanite stem. Ice water properly chilled along with da floaty widdle icebergs is my drink for the rest of the evening. Enjoyed an evening out with old high school friends at a Japanese buffet restaurant, even if I had to smoke outside before and after dinner. Suzy and Molly didn't appreciate us being gone, and I doubt they were amused by getting no left overs. Oh well, they just got some Salmon Fest, so they are happy now.

Nearly vigil hour, 3am. , my cups empty, my steel bowls of Nightcap ash, I reach for my Rattray's Butcher boy (No 23), and fill it with Troost. Good peasant food satisfied me in my proletariat cottage, in the past, these bad days, in my bachelor ways it is frozen pizza or frozen bangers and mash or frozen roast chicken. but I am content with my pipe dreams. good cuts of food are for the youth, I have my cup & pipe, and all is well in the world, by Duw & Dewi, by God & Crown. Goodnight, Nos da.
