Opened two pouches through the post, Gawaith Hoggarth's, Curly Cut Deluxe, from rope for chewing down the mines ( no lights), and lighting up when you came out " safely", money for old rope..aroma is rich and deep, as the mines & miners. Also Murrays Warrior Plug, handy in your sporran or knapsack, smells a treat of beef jerky amongst hard rations, must have my morning i- coffee, too wound down to grind my own.

Tiny Bowl of Smoke-King Avro, for starters, that put a spring in my step, then onto a bowl of a roll of University Flake in my emerald Christmas Peterson, listening to the Salvation Army choir singing " He who would Valiant BE" and all is well in the world as the sun peeps through the clouds. Finishing my afternoon cup of a quick Earl Grey tea.......

Had two slow "acorn" barrels of Peter Sokkeby Balkan & Condor, catching up with Later Live with Jools Holland (BBC), a tight show with arty mix of designer band multi ethnic fusion, crowned with Greg Porter doing Purple Rain, it put wind in my Ragged Sails , Bros & Sisses, A Prince amongst Artists.

Listening to Dee Gordon get slammed for taking PEDs, and he deserves every negative comment he gets. What an idiot!

Interested to know your impressions of CONDOR! I tried Condor many years ago in my first piping days, when I was used to mild pipe and cigars smokes, and it was far too strong, which put me off. My impression now are it is like a pure straight strong whisky , nothing fancy but a " genuine ' strong no nonsense pipe experience, the height of Pure pipe smoking for puffing out of doors, like sipping on a hip flask of Johnny Walker at a game, to revive your flagging spirits. Something you would pipe on at a cold winter "soccer" or Rugby game. It certainly focuses your attention!
