Starting off my smoking day with Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 1982 black sandblasted paneled slight bend Savinelli flat bottom sitter with a black vulcanite stem. A bottle of Mountain Dew made with pure cane sugar is my drink. Suzy and Molly are rasslin' in the den, banging into just about everything in sight.
Hope you feel better soon, Stormy.

Which version of Jane Eyre?
I'm ready to kill myself and that's all you can say?
LOL, pretty much. No sympathy here, because Jane Eyre is a great story and one of my favorites I wanna get a copy of the version with George C. Scott, that is something I gotta see, lol!

Don't listen to em, David. Nothing wrong with art. We had seen it before. I guess Xuan was familiar with the story in Vietnam. To answer Lady Margaret it was the 96 or 97 version. Xuan forced me to go see it, which was no big deal. I gave her trouble, saying I would be the only male in there. I was wrong. There was one more guy in the whole frickin theatre. I said something to Xuan like, "Oh, there's the other henpecked guy." Well, having learned half her English from I Love Lucy she knew what that meant. I was iced out for a day or two. Actually, I liked the movie. I love classics. If I told her that, though, the guys would have kicked me out of "The Club."
aha, I haven't seen that one yet. The only one I have seen is the version with Timothy Dalton. But having made hubby watch it, I would let him subject me to three action movies, lol. Should be fair about things But no, hubby hasn't been made to watch Jane Eyre.

PS #84 Turkish in the MM CG with another can of Coke. Hi, I've been meaning to try this blend but have read mixed reviews. Do you consider it something worth smoking on its own or more of a blending tobacco? Do you notice any sourness in the blend? Thanks.

Ive got patriot flake burning in the RobE Hurricane. Black coffee in the contigo. I got the chance to smoke a few bowls while watching the fellowship of the rings last night at IRTT (localish b&m). Including my first bowl of grousemoor. I'm still on the fence with it since it was like smoking an incense stick. I'll be picking up a tin to explore it more since I do enjoy lakelands on occasion.

I just finished a bowl of C&D Pegasus in a 2017 Don Warren Freehand sitter with a plateau rim and butterscotch acrylic stem. That finishes this one ounce sample, and I got 13 bowls from it.

The Dalton version was really good. He is in the better half of James Bonds, too. I think if people go look at every Bond film they will feel like his acting was more serious of an attempt, rather than the tongue and cheek that made Bond more lowbrow. As to the 90's version of Jayne Eyre, it was not as long as it could have been, but the story was indeed full, and I love it. The colors and scenery remind me of Brett Sherlock Holmes episodes. The actress wasn't as comely as some in the role, which made her more of an appealing person in this role.

Crisp 9F and looks cloudy outside before daybreak. Continuing with my 9mm meerschaum filter experiment, smoking Watch City Slice in a 1/4 bent smooth 1998 sterling silver banded Peterson 999 Rhodesian Flame Grain with an acrylic fish tale stem. Going well, I'm kind of digging on these White Elephant 9mm meerschaum filters, will post a review next week. Drinking black coffee and listening to ESPN radio. Those 9mm "meeries" are excellent aren't they? As stated, they are overall my favorite filter type. If you have not tried the Vauen 9mm paper filters yet, at least get a single 40 pack to try with some different tobaccos. They are also nice for a "truer" tobacco flavor. As said, they can also lead to tongue bit if the tobacco is capable of delivering. I am glad you are enjoying the 9mm Meerschaum filters. Excellent tobacco choice too! I only have three 9mm pipes, Petes all from across the pond but they're getting a work out. Going well. Now smoking Uhle's 300 in an MM Diplomat, drinking regular Budweiser and watching NFL playoffs.

Match Holiday in the Dunhill trying to decide whether to watch the 'misbehaving kids' movie marathon on channel 2, the 'funny horror' movie marathon on channel 5, or just keep listening to the radio. That's the good thing about watching sports, you can just mute the TV and listen to the radio. They moved wrestling from Sunday afternoon to Saturday nights during the NFL play-offs replacing Saturday night boxing and it's really throwing off my schedule. I mean, grid-iron football is a sport but boxing is at its best an art and at its worst a real tactical battle. At least the Caribbean baseball series starts next month!

Dan tobacco midnight ride in the cd mm charlestown cobbler. This is well aged and probably the first clue into what my mouth doesnt tolerate well and i always thought it was latakia and this baccy is an oriental forward va per or and its stinging the hell out of me despite its 12 year age. Its my first bowl of it and I'll keep working at it in a couple more pipes, but I'm going to have some test smokes with more oriental forward blends and see what happens.
