Well this evening was a great time with family and friends. It was a celebration of our baby's 19th birthday.
After dinner, the cake and presents, the guys and I made our way up to the mancave.
My buddy Jim brought along a box of Chateau Fuente Kings for us all to enjoy. Along with the Scotch, it was a fine time indeed.
So, a couple of hours later the guests have gone home, the dishes are done, and the baby is watching a movie with her beau.
I've found my way back up to the cave and am enjoying an exquisite bowl of Full Balkan Reserve in a beautiful Joria Billiard and sippin some Earl Grey.

Now smoking 2013 Capstan Blue in a 2014 Savinelli Gaius smooth brown slight bend black acrylic stem and ferrule 320KS author. Almost finished drinking a cup of hot tea on this cold evening. Still waiting for the snow. Stormy is slacking off, probably finishing up some burley.

He got a nasty flu bug. A quarter of the way through this bowl of Director’s Cut in a smooth straight late ‘50s, early 1960s Lane era Charatan Selected 43 Dublin with a black vulcanite double comfort stem. This pipe was also owned by actor William Conrad. Phone chatting about comic books.

Been a while since I've had some SG St. James Flake (another excellent smelling tobacco, but not as good as FVF), so I am doing some 2 year aged St. James Flake in the Rattray Highland #5 pipe with the last of my growler of Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA along side.

Okay, I saw you in the other thread, so when you and Sid list your first post, Good Morning Ant and Sid Mornin'to you too, mate! Started my smoking day about five hours ago with some Reiner Long Golden Flake in the first pipe I ever owned: a beechwood Clipper bent brandy, purchased from a clipboard at a local corner store about nine years ago. Brass colored tin shank ring long gone and the lacquered finish boiling up nicely, but passes a pipe cleaner perfectly and smokes like a champ, albeit a little bit hot. At work: Mystery Blend from the bottomless jar in a couple of cobs.

6F and cloudy before daybreak. I actually had to get out the snow shovel yesterday but 40s and 50s dominate the fifteen day forecast in the Weather Channel app after tomorrow. Smoking Sam Gawith Best Brown Flake in a smooth 1/4 bent 1982 Dunhill Chestnut Rhodesian with a Cumberland stem, drinking hot black coffee, listening to NPR and reviewing local real estate listings.
