Hey all, I'm visiting my dad in Sacramento, CA. Looking for a recommendation for the best pipe shop to visit. I visited two locations of the Briar Patch last time several years ago and it looks like the larger one closed? I saw there was a tobacco road also. Any input appreciated. Thanks in advance!

The only one I know of is the briar patch...thay are great people, met the ladies at the West Coast pipe show in November. The political realities of draconian taxes on tobacco that took place last year cause the briar patch to close one store and has driven others out of the business. Ed Crosby's story is all to familiar in the once golden state. www.modbee.com/news/business/biz-columns-blogs/biz-beat/article149549859.html

Is the Briar Patch in the Arden Fair Mall still open? I used to go there once or twice a month when I lived in Antelope.

Well, I hit up the Briar Patch. Bought a little savinelli la corta nose warmer and some house blends. Good experience!
