Supper was angel hair pasta topped with marinara laced with crushed red pepper seeds, minced garlic, sautéed mushrooms and topped with fresh parmesan. Now smoking Sam Gawith Best Brown Flake in a smooth 1/8 bent Grade P James Upshall apple, drinking ice tea with lemon and watching News Hour.

Fresh Black House. Really lacking the depth of the dry tin I had been smoking. So what am I supposed to do for the next 4 months while the air works it's magic on this tin!? I may need to buy it in bulk from now on.

Returning to the Eddie G's Birthday Treat homemix, this time in one of several multi-fill Stanwells that I bought from a single seller back in 2009, a Stanwell Majestic #141, which I can only describe as an "egg-brandy" shape.

Sutliff: Pumpkin Spice. This may just be a party-pleaser. Smells like heaven in the jar and that carries over to the room-note, but the smoke is that steamy, water vapor Cavendish smoke. Not getting much from it. Cold PBR to drink. Innsmouth is on deck.

I'm not sure what to think about it, it's interesting. It was straight from the tin so it needs some time in the jar for a while, I think.

Holger Danske: Original Mild Orange* in a Stanwell BB Freehand. Still sippin' soda. Cheers.
* if E/O is too much for you, this supplies an orange fix on the down low. Top quality leaf, blended with skill and attention. Has an interesting orange creamsicle like (but not as sweet as that sounds) top note. Well behaved burn rate with a modest nicotine content. ** thanks David for your posting on HD.

I had already posted when I thought of that comparison and didn't feel like adding to it. Thing was, I didn't get really separated tastes, just the total blend, which is also what you sort of said. it's also nice to have my taste buds validated, so thanks for getting back on that.

Looks like H&H Viprati was a relatively popular choice, I am goign to have some 1.5 years aged Viprati (I chose it before seeing how popular it was today ) in the Vauen Rosewood 192 pipe with the last of my growler of the Sunwood (I forgot the name of the IPA, but the one with 3 hops including the Lemon Drop Hop) IPA along side.

Sid, Deucalion -- isn't he the ancient Greek who also got word from the Gods about the flood-- the forerunner of Noah? After that bit of history/mythology query, I'm smoking HH Vintage Syrian in my tulip. Yes my dear friend it is. Deucalion, in Greek legend, the Greek equivalent of Noah, the son of Prometheus (the creator of humankind), king of Phthia in Thessaly, and husband of Pyrrha; he was also the father of Hellen, the mythical ancestor of the Hellenic race.www.britannica.com/topic/Deucalion
