Finally cracked a tin of Hamborger Veermaster Using an inexpensive (read "cheap") Casillero. About a month ago,I was taking the stem out to clean. It broke. The stem is a saddle bit so I had been careful to grip it above where it tapers.the break came in the thickest part of the stem.Found out the tenon is glued into the stem, not molded with it. Little dab of glue and a couple days to cure and it's in fine working order. I have one of those too, but I haven't broken the stem. Yet. I think it came with a pouch of tobacco, a pipe tool, and some pipe cleaners in a deal from P+C for about $20. I probably wouldn't buy another, but it isn't a bad smoker.

Just finished a stack full of McC 2050 Oriental Cavendish with latakia. This tobac tastes like a super oriental; I think they snuck in a topping. Maybe a light clove flavor

I picked mine up in a CAW promo from P&C.Same pipe but mine is a straight billiard. It broke about 3/8 inche below the briar shank. The tenon though didn't break so I actually had something of a reverse tenon/mortise to line it back up.Used a C/A type glue (something 2000),with about 48 hours to cure and it's solid now.Great little smoker but cheap.Goop pipe for yard work or hiking.
