It has been absolutely gorgeous here the last two days. 77 yesterday and 80 today... So, as you smart folks have probably already surmised, I found my way to the club and tee'd em up both days. Naturally this meant I had an opportunity to enjoy 5 or 6 Arturo Fuente's each day. This evening I found my way up to the mancave, jarred up some 5 year old Margate I received, and decided to have a bowl of it in my favorite Margate pipe, besides my gourd calabash, ;-) Changed up the beverage selection this evening. Am sipping 12 yo McCallan.

Back home now from Ruson Japanese Steak House where with my eldest daughter, SIL and two grandkids enjoyed a very entertaining Sushi chef stage show (paring, searing, clowning and wisecrack banter) and of course fantastic seared food. Upon returning I reached out for more of that spot-hitting homemixed Eddie G's Birthday Treat, in the Savinelli Virginia 802 canadian. Allowing what has been a perfect evening to slowly roll on to its close.

Just finished the day's last smoke while watching Olympic skiing. C&D Super Balkan mixed with McC Yenice Agonya in a Kriswill billiard, probably one of the few they made in between all their pickaxes.

My first pipe of the day was C&D Pegasus in a rusticated Savinelli bent billiard with a 6mm filter and a vulcanite stem. This was the second pipe I purchased, back in January, 1997.
Moments ago, I finished a bowl of Peretti no. 333 in that same Savinelli.

A late start to the morning, with the incomparable Match Revelation in the Comoy's Tradition 252, a pot shaped bowl with grain that somewhat resembles the surface of the planet Jupiter. Happy weekend pipers.
