Today I was listening to Kasey Kasem’s American Top 40 on the IHeartRadio app.. a nice change of pace.
From 1977, Slave recorded Slide....I hadn’t heard it for decades, as you get into the song, the guitar work reminds me of Ernie Isley. If it wasn’t a 6 minute song, I think that it would have gotten a lot more airplay and gotten a higher position.

I saw someone post some Hillary Hahn a few weeks ago and remembered how well she plays this Vaughan Williams piece. I love the part when the French horns come in at about 3:20. Gets me every time.

Birds are chirping...squirrels bark...some of the neighborhood dogs are raisin' a ruckus...no sound of humans hollering...certainly a pleasure sitting on my porch.

All things Alan Parsons Project of late, especially "Tales of Mystery and Imagination" and "I Robot". This is one of my favorite songs of all time, period.

Little feat.. That's a band I haven't listened to in a long time. Great stuff. You and Don both have good taste.

One of the greatest rock albums of that era. Not enough people are familiar with it. It is great all the way through. Not a single miss on that album. James Dewar was special. Of course, RT is too.
