Something amazingly beautiful. Smoking some Plum Pudding, ice water to drink. I hope nobody calls me or rings the doorbell.

For those who like to smoke with music on -
Do you go for some kind of relationship between the music and the blend of tobacco you are smoking?
Is there music you like but to which you don't smoke because there isn't a good match?
For me, I don't like to smoke to anything too rhythmic, because it starts to affect my puffing pace. I also tend to avoid music with words, or at least a strong narrative lyric, because I enjoy smoking when my mind is dawdling without specific literal focus. There are exceptions of course, but as a general rule...

I'm not an aficionado of the genre, but I like it in the background while I'm smoking a pipe or playing chess...

Most classical does fit the bill. Some of Rossini's overtures can get me puffing too fast however. Like this at the five minute mark to the end. If I drive with this on, I will get a ticket. It is inevitable. But maybe just worth it. (In my mind I see Rossini writing this with a huge smile, laughing as he sees me in the future burning a hole in my pipe just as I run a red light.)

I don't listen to a lot of music (I hear the gasps in the background), but when I do these days it is usually a little Classical or New Age. Virginia for classical, English for New Age. Don't know why.

"One thing I do have on my mind, if you can clarify please do It's the way you call me by another guy's name when I try to make love to you, yeah"...
Just the way I remember it. In the song and in life.
