He reminded me of a song from my childhood... Ghost Riders in the Sky...don't remember who sang it but it was in the same vein.

So you think rock is dead?
Sean Lennon and Les Claypool have teamed up to make a couple of amazing albums.

More Claypool Lennon Delirium. Sean Lennon doing his daddy proud. Les Claypool, the genius of bass. Astoundingly good...50 years ago they would have been ranked right there with the Floyd...Great video presentation and of course Claypool standing out as is Sean...wonder which one is doing the writing. Thanks DaveG...gave me something to track down.

Been on a big Zappa binge for days now. There is nothing off that album I didn't love. That and Bongo Fury, with Captain Beefheart. Wow memories. I am not sure I would be as into it now, but I do have a fondness for curmudgeon artists like FZ.

Well, spent a good part of the day listening to Lennon and Claypool...rethink my thoughts on them being the next Pink Floyd...to quirky to be that good...couple of good tunes, but they are too busy having fun to put down some serious tracks, at least to my thinking.

Definitely my favorite thing both artists have ever done. I believe both do lyrics and music writing for the project. Blood and Rockets, is Lennon. Mr. wright and Flee’s, could only be none other than Claypool.

Any Tool fans out there? Here’s some brand new Tool. Yes, after only taking a decade to complete, this new album is about to drop.
