Welp, Spring is here. When Spring comes to my neck of the woods, she brings allergies, and with the allergies come asthma. Dunno how much I'll be smoking for the next week or two. If my asthma gets too bad, I'll have to go to the doc. Congrats to roadsdiverged! Girls are a blast.

Yeh, it's a shame that "SHE" ruined the most pure happiness that I've felt in a long time within 20 minutes. Oh well. I'm still having a girl Thank you all

Well it took twins, but .... IM FINALLY GETTING A GIRL!!!! (and a boy) lol Congratulations! I have 4 daughters (to go along with the 3 tall sons), and girls are a wonder. She will tie you up in knots and twist you around her tiny finger, and you will love every minute of it. BTW, two of my daughters are twins, 19 years old now. Life is never the same, but in a good way. Im very happy for you.

Sincere best wishes, Josh. I had one of each (a daughter, then a son, both adults now) and figured that was a good place to stop.

Thank you!
I have 1 daughter that I've raised since birth, she is not biologically mine. You couldnt convince either one of us that I'm not her dad. Shes 17, a senior in high school, and will have 2 years of college finished by the time she graduates. Very proud of her.
My children are my life and I would do anything in this world for any of them.
These 2 will definitely be the last of my flock.
Martin, my brain told me to stop after my 2 oldest boys... but as many of you know, I learn the hard way.
Still elated!

roadsdiverged - Congrats, buddy! A daughter really changes a man. My daughter is the light of my life. I'm a better person because of her. Doesn't mean I don't get mad and yell, but she's just my favorite thing in this world. I wish you the same experience I've had of the love a dad has for his daughter. It's unique.

I agree with Jason. A daughter requires a gentle hand and a gentle voice. I have heard it said boys grow up but little girls are still daddies girl no matter what the age.

Thank you all, again. They're due in September, but since they're twins, I'm sure it will be earlier.
I'm sure having a girl is going to be life changing. I cant wait. I already want to go buy her some stuff... and I hate shopping.

Josh, drinking coffee, texted my son who is flying to Japan, I’m unsettled by this. I realize old fart that I am, that you’re having twins, boy and girl as I did. I would come home from dog shift, Moma was tired from rocking all night, I would take over and all 3 of us would sleep. We bought Enfamil by the case, Moma dressed them alike till the 4th grade, then they decided they didn’t want that. You’re a lucky man, you’re gonna have many good memories.

My daughter, apparently, says, "Leave it or not", instead of, "believe it or not". Surprisingly, it kind of makes sense.

Thank you all!
Starting the day by pressure washing my dads house. Going to see if the neighbor wants me to hit his too while I have my bosses pressure washer.
I'm going to do everything I can to make sure it's a good Sunday for me and everyone else.

Was gonna get up and take Shweetie to church, but when I rolled over and looked at my watch, it was already 10:30. I never sleep that late! I came out of the bedroom to find her nursing a severe headache, we think it might be these Florida allergies we're not used to. She figured she didn't feel good and I needed to sleep on my day off, so she didn't wake me. I went to Walgreen's and got her some Allegra, hope that helps. Spending the rest of the day taking it easy. I have a couple pieces of tack I might do some general maintenance on, a headstall and some hobbles. Other than that, not much else. We wormed and vaccinated another 132 horses yesterday, and jugged 5. I dont need a lot to do today.

First, and last, sunburn of the year complete! I got thr house washed and my neighbor said he was working on his himself... his loss. I could have finished the whole thing in an hour and a half. Tilled and raked out the garden again today. Should be ready to plant next week.
I burn one time a year and then the rest is smooth sailing.

I was 8 when Happy Days started and 18 when it wrapped up and those seemed like the longest years in the world. Now I'll remember something like it was yesterday and it was 30 years ago.
